Robot reanimation & medical experimentation; new this week at the buffet...

Hey everybody!

Sorry for the unexpectedly long absence. I got chicken pox right after the New Year holiday (literally, on January 2nd) and I'm just getting back on track.

We should be resuming our somewhat regular schedule of regular updates as of this week's update so on that note...

Join the Kommandant as he tries to stop the progress of '90s post apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Hardware.

Then join Bunny as she goes underground with a freak of nature whose crimes go beyond her wildest terror, Hunchback Of The Morgue.

Exploitation down under and wartime thunder; new this week at the buffet...

This week the Kommandant takes off with the mother of all macaroni combat films, Eagles Over London.

While Bunny gets an education in the wild, untold story of Ozploitation from Mark Hartley's Not Quite Hollywood.

****

An on that note, Happy Holidays everyone!

We'll be taking our annual non-denominational holiday break for the last two weeks of December so, since I won't be writing one of these until literally next year, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a festive season and a happy 2010.

We'll see you back here the first week of January for another year of B-Movie goodness.

Cheers!

Hi-jinx and hemoglobin; new this week at the buffet...

This week Bunny laps up a double bill of totally kooky, somewhat kinky kitty krime, Kitten In A Cage & The Girl From Pussycat.

While the Kommandant makes himself at home with Jorge Grau's, The Legend Of Blood Castle.

Brazen Brass; new this week at the buffet...

This week we set the wayback machine for Italy circa 1969 to ingest a double dose of dubious ideas courtesy the ever artsy fartsy lens of Tinto Brass.

First Bunny develops an aversion to the psychedelic pop art experiment of Attraction (Nerosubianco).

Then The Kommandant quietly comments on surreal "cult classic" The Howl.

Gobble gobble hey...

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I completely forgot to mention this last week but this week there will be no update. We're hosting turkey day dinner and will be a little too occupied with food and guests this weekend (and the aftermath of food and guests) to be working.

We will return to our somewhat regular schedule next week with a double dose of Brazen Brass; Tinto Brass that is. (And seriously, both of these films look crazy!!)

Anywhoo, wherever you're going and whatever you're eating, I hope you have a lovely holiday.

Cheers!

Corpses and curses; new this week at the buffet...

This week the BMB travels from the boggy moors of Scotland to the swampy swamplands of Florida to bring you a trio of tasty tongue-in-cheek horror flicks.

First join Bunny as she digs the legend of legendary body snatchers Burke And Hare.

Then join the Kommandant as he dives into a double dose of deep South sinema, Death Curse Of Tartu & Sting Of Death.
